18 Melrose Avenue.

Project Overview.
A residence shaped
to scale and function.
Opportunity
18 Melrose Avenue is a later-generation Bergenfield residence, built in 2008 on a 0.22-acre site. Its size and relatively recent construction gave it a strong base, but its presentation lagged behind current expectations for the neighborhood.
Strategy
Rather than wholesale reinvention, the property called for focused repositioning: build on the home's existing scale and residential functionality, and refresh how it presents to the market.
Execution
The prior-condition and completed exteriors show an updated street elevation and a more resolved overall presentation, bringing the residence in line with the neighborhood's newer housing.
Outcome
At 3,566 square feet, the completed residence offers substantial scale and practical family living on a well-proportioned Bergenfield lot, repositioned for contemporary buyers.
